MAIN OPERATIONS CARRIED OUT BY THE "WORKS AND REFURBISHMENT” DEPARTMENT IN 2020: • Overhaul of the Comptoir Seine at the Musée d’Or-

say (delivery in 2021): studies, internet design and implementation

• The creation, manufacture and installation of anti-Cov- id protection systems for the staff and public in the shops and bookstores managed by the Rmn - Grand Palais, i.e. 31 sites;

• Support was provided to the Sales and Marketing Department for the contract won in December 2020 for the Pompidou Centre bookshop. The work will be delivered in the Spring 2021;

• The resumption of construction work on the temporary buildings to house the 8th arrondissement police station and the Gardes de l’Elysée, in connection with conces- sion holders, City Hall and the Commission des Sites;

• Analysis and graphic work required for preparatory de- sign studies for the installation of the living quarters in the South West Gallery of the Grand Palais and offices in the Courbe Nord Gallery;

• Preparation for the dismantling of the shop and ticket- ing office in the South East Gallery of the Grand Palais;

• Preparation for the removal of the World Time Clock, usually installed on one of the balconies of the Nave and now stored and restored by a specialised compa- ny based in La Doubs;

• Delivery of the work for the Musée du Luxembourg: rehabilitation of the façades and technical systems;

• Maintenance of the new roof work carried out at the Grand Palais in 2017;

• Overseeing DRAC permit application procedures for all work on the Grand Palais

• Within the scope of the Grand Palais renovation and standards compliance work:

– management of work relating to waterproofing of the nave with repair of the seals, the dormers, the junction of the dome and the bell tower;

– Completion of roof restoration work on the North East Gallery and now turning to the North Intermediate Building, the North West Gallery and soon the Courbe Nord Gallery;

– Support for the Palais de la Découverte for the spac- es in the Palais d’Antin.
